Wonderful in every way

Jonathan Edwards is truly an American intellectual giant and a particularly brilliant and analytical theologian whose insightful works are well-worth reading. Hitherto this 2-volume set has been available only in hardcover with tiny print and with a hefty price-tag. This inexpensive Kindle ebook edition resolves both of those obstacles and is a pleasure to read. The TOC is active and sub-divided, thereby permitting easy and direct access not only to major works but to titles and specific divisions within those works. It is particularly well-formatted. I am greatly enjoying reading this version rather than my heavy and cumbersome hardcovered one.
I feel this is just about as perfect as an inexpensive ($.99) ebook gets. This is truly a wonderful set and a terrific bargain. But you should not take my word for it; everyone is different and what one person likes another may not. So please download a sample to see for yourself. Carefully examine the contents identified in the TOC; search for the titles you hope and expect this set to contain. (It cannot be expected to contain EVERYTHING; even so-called "complete" ebook sets are seldom truly 100% complete.) Check the formatting on YOUR device. Also compare it to samples of other J.E. works being sold in the Kindle Store. I think you'll agree this is a full and handsome collection and a "steal" for only a buck.
ADDENDUM: Since the above was written, the price has risen to $2.99. My enthusiasm for J.E. remains as high as it originally was, but I am (comparatively) less thrilled with the higher price.

Fantastic Kindle Version

I was so glad to find this in a kindle version and quite surprised at the low price for this wonderful set, which as far as I understand it contains almost all, if not all of Jonathan Edward's writings. If you purchase this set their is really no need to buy other books of Edwards unless you wanted a particular biography, but this volume contains an excellent one too along with Edwards writings. I wanted to buy the hard cover version of this set years ago but at the time with a young family and a family budget decided not to. I had forgotten about it and recently the Lord brought brought it to my mind so I searched and found it available on the kindle. I am currently reading it on my KindleFire HD and it displays very well. I thought the table of contents was done very well with the top menu to the major sections cleanly laid out which then takes you to a second part of the TOC for the particular section that you click on where you can then pick the exact book or section you want to read. This will keep me studying for months and years to come. Thanks for making it available.

Classic work for theological history nerds [of whom I am one]

What can be said? This is one of those classic works that every Christian should read/own, but which for the modern reader would be tedious and plodding. One must understand the mind and the writings of the Puritans to grasp and enjoy this kind of writing. But if one does, there is great reward in this wonderful read.
