Possibly the worst audiobook I've had the misfortune to endure

This represents everything that is wrong with books, audiobooks and seminars today. After enduring hours upon hours of waffle, repetition and elementary information, you realise that you haven't actually learned anything new or helpful. What's more, Trudeau manages to insult the average person's intelligence, reiterating basic concepts and then implying we don't understand...and then repeating them once again, very slowly and clearly as one would to a small child with learning difficulties. I found it deeply aggravating.
While I was listening, I also had many doubts about his authenticity and claims, or if he really is holding a seminar as he claims or is just recording in some office somewhere. But then again, he clearly makes his money by exploiting the gullible who believe positive thinking means lapping up the slop that authors like this throw at them and convincing themselves it's money well spent. Everything about this man appears dubious and the information itself is all based on rehashed theory and anecdotes from other books and talks.
The irony is that Trudeau actually warns people about books and programs just like this one. You would do well to heed that warning!

Too Bad Kevin Trudeau Lacks Ethics, Otherwise Good CD Set

The man:
After watching The LOOKOUT on ABC that originally aired on 5/29, I am deeply disturbed by this man's character. There are some nuggets of truth in this CD set, but Mr. Trudeau is found to be a money launderer by investigative journalists and fraud by the FTC in regards to his weight loss book. I will not be supporting a person who lacks ethics and integrity.
The teaching:
He brings up unconscious competence (see Nice Girls Don't Get the Corner Office 101 for an instructive chart on how this works. That books really makes it simple.)
Try to get past Trudeau's arrogance and talk on the "brotherhood." He has a tendency to be a little arrogant - "the people that are here at the seminar paid big money . . . the royal families that are here . . . we are in the Swiss Alps."
Two of the Imperative Questions that he asks is, "What are you willing to give up to get what you want? Are you willing to give up watching TV to learn these principles?"
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS CD set:
"Your brain puts out a frequency 24/7 and that frequency has to return to us. Everything in the universe is working together to match that frequency . . . What you wants, wants you: friends, accolades, success, achievement, happiness, bliss, etc.. Yes, this is a repeats a lot of The Secret, but it's something positive to listen to, and hearing things with a different voice helps in manifesting your goals."
This is good brain food to fall asleep listening to.
