Deep and life changing

I wasn't sure that I'd have any interest in reading this book but I decided to give it a try not just for myself but because I thought my husband might be interested in it as well, he loved the Shack. This is a story about multiple lives that come together as the story progresses because of a homeless man named Noah. Noah is full of enthusiasm about his faith and everyone is just drawn to him. He challenges everyone to stop walking around unconscious and start living life to the fullest by finding your meaning in life and searching in to your soul.
The characters were all really deep and at some parts I had to go back through and re-read the section because I wasn't quite sure what the point was. Noah was complicated yet simple (if that makes any sense) and at times the things he said had me struggling to understand what his point was.
Good Things Happened Today was about how we all have choices to make and those choices affect humanity and not just ourselves, the choices between good and evil. This book had me meditating on what God wants out of my life and how he wants me to be a better person every day! Make an effort!! This fiction book is faced-paced and well written and deep. Once you pick it up, you want to keep reading and you want to change your life!
I received a copy of this book to read and review from the author. My review is not biased by the fact that I was given this book. I HONESTLY read and review any book whether bought or given to me. If I did not like the book I would definitely not give a rave review or recommend it.

Something Good Happened to Today - "I read this book."

I rarely do this but I found myself folding down the pages of this book so I could go back and re-read them after I finished the book. On completion, I realized I had dog eared probably every 5th page! This was a quick, captivating and thought provoking storyline and commentary, relevant to anyone walking around even semi-concious in today's world. It sets up the passive and active forces of evil in a way that are impossible to deny. The main characters, a NYC ad executive and a SF non-profit worker, were great characters for the author to select to set up the showdown between good and evil both within themselves and in the world at larged.
This book reminded me of The Shack but actually more believeable while making many of the same points and provoking many of the same introspective thoughts. After reading this book, I think I am more conscious than ever in trying to shift my behavior to be a better person every day. This is a wonderful contribution to the world of fiction, with some practical self-assessment commentary. I loved it.

Noah with his words of faith and enlightenment, with his cheerful spirit and the ability to look deep into one's soul, guides these people to look deeper into the lives that they live. Searching for real meaning to life, not just the wealth and status that one can obtain at the sacrifice of truly living.
This book has the elements of good and evil depicted by characters in rich language and detailed chapters. The details in the language made the scenes just come alive for me.
Not a casual read or light read. This book will challenge the choices you have made in life and where you are heading today. It will make you realize that you can choose to make good things happen today.
